Carnival Cruise Line is ready to welcome the first guests in its new private destination - Celebration Key, as the company reported in a press release.

First announced in mid-2023, the new cruise stop on the island of Grand Bahama will be officially opened by President Christine Duffy. According to Carnival, Celebration Key is currently among the most frequently searched cruise destinations on Google. This destination is part of the new Paradise Collection from Carnival, which also includes RelaxAway on the island of Half Moon Cay (Bahamas) and Isla Tropicale in Honduras.

In addition to announcing the opening date of Celebration Key, Carnival also released the first images of the new resort.

Paradise Plaza
- The main decoration of the port will be the Celebration Key portal - an arch in the shape of the sun, which will serve as the entrance to Paradise Plaza.
- In the family-friendly area of ​​Starfish Lagoon, it is possible to reserve AquaBanas - floating platforms designed for 8 people.



Suncastle
- Another attraction will be the Suncastle - a ten-story building with two water slides 350 feet long (more than 100 meters).
- Celebration Key will also house the two largest freshwater lagoons in the Caribbean - Starfish and Calypso.
- The total area of ​​the lagoons will be more than 25,500 square meters, and they will offer entertainment for both families and adults.
- Four super villas over the water will be installed in these zones, each of which can accommodate up to 10 guests and has shaded seating.
