Luxury cruise line Silversea Cruises has officially announced a major restructuring of its accommodation system. The company has combined its 17 suite types into four distinct comfort categories to offer guests an even more personalized service and exclusive new privileges.
Guests can book under the new suite categories starting from September 16, 2026, while the enhanced benefit packages and inclusions will apply to all sailings departing on or after January 1, 2027.
New Suite Category Structure
As noted by Silversea President Bert Hernandez, these changes are designed to reinforce the brand's foundational approach to ship intimacy and personal attention. All accommodations are now categorized as follows:
• Oceanview: Featuring Panorama and Vista suites equipped with large windows offering expansive ocean views.
• Veranda: Including Premium Veranda, Deluxe Veranda, Superior Veranda, Classic Veranda, and Veranda suites, each featuring a private balcony.
• Residence: Offering more spacious layouts with separate bedrooms and living areas — Junior Grand, Signature, Silver, Premium Medallion, and Medallion suites.
• Villa: The fleet's largest and most luxurious accommodations — Otium, Master, Owner's, Grand, and Royal suites featuring expansive living spaces and large terraces.
All-Inclusive Standards & New Privileges
Every guest aboard Silversea ships, regardless of the chosen category, continues to enjoy the signature all-inclusive service package, which includes 24-hour butler service, in-suite dining around the clock, beverages, complimentary Wi-Fi, and port fees.
At the same time, enhanced benefit packages have been introduced for guests in higher categories:
• For Residence Guests: Priority embarkation on Classic voyages and early access to spa reservations (210 days prior) and dining reservations (150 days prior to the cruise).
• For Villa Guests: Individual transfers (when booking flights through Silversea), privileged early suite access, exclusive in-suite chef-selected dining experiences, tastings, extended access to onboard facilities on disembarkation day, and on expedition sailings — flexible Zodiac departure times and priority kayaking access.
Please note: These changes apply to all current and future bookings for the company's liners for the 2027 season and beyond. By choosing higher accommodation categories, guests receive an unprecedented level of personalized service.
