Princess Cruises increases gratuities and service fees in 2026: what will change for tourists
Princess Cruises updated its Crew Appreciation and Service Charge policy in March 2026. The changes affect all passengers and have already sparked heated debate among travelers.

New Onboard Tip Sizes. Effective March 8, 2026, Princess Cruises has increased daily gratuities for guests:
20$/day — for Suites
19$/day — Mini Suites, Cabanas, Reserve Collection
18$/day — all other cabins
The increase was +1 dollar per person per day.
Service charge increased to 20%
In addition to gratuities, Princess Cruises also increased its service charge:
