Royal Caribbean is once again introducing exclusive beers!

Royal Caribbean International is once again introducing its exclusive Chilla Thrilla beer, created in partnership with Funky Buddha Brewery.

According to a social media update, the Florida-brewed drink returned in mid-November and is now available on Royal Caribbean's private islands, including Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas.

Guests can also order the Chilla Thrilla aboard the company's ships departing from U.S. ports.



Royal Caribbean describes the beer as "a refreshing pale ale brewed with mango and guava."

According to Funky Buddha Brewery, the pale gold beer has a tropical profile with notes of grain and mango.

The Oakland Park-based brewery's website states that the drink is created and bottled exclusively for Royal Caribbean. Chilla Thrilla is available in 355 ml (12 fl oz) cans and has an alcohol content of 4.5%.

Funky Buddha Brewery says the beer pairs well with Cuban sandwiches, mango and habanero wings, carnitas tacos, fresh citrus and stone fruit. Chilla Thrilla was first introduced alongside the Perfect Day enhancements for CocoCay, which debuted in mid-2019.

At the time, Royal Caribbean and Funky Buddha planned to create several new flavors that reflected different aspects of a vacation in the Bahamas.



The beer was available for months before the cruise industry ground to a halt due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

CocoCay opened a number of new properties in 2019 as part of a 0 million renovation.

The private cruise port now offers a water park with 13 slides and a zipline, as well as hot air balloon rides.

Other island amenities include an adults-only beach club, as well as numerous beaches, a freshwater lagoon, and the largest wave pool in the Caribbean.
