MSC Cruises begins the countdown to the maiden voyage of the cruise ship World Asia

The company MSC Cruises marked six months until the maiden voyage of MSC World Asia and announced that the official naming ceremony for the ship will take place on November 28, 2026, in Le Havre, France.



Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises, noted: “Our World Class ships are a huge success among guests, and MSC World Asia, the third of eight ships in this class, marks the next step in this journey.».

The liner will offer 7-night itineraries to destinations such as Marseille, Messina, Civitavecchia (for travel to Rome), Naples, and Valletta, with embarkation available at every port.

In its press release, the company noted that six months before the launch, it highlights six main onboard attractions, including:

The Cliffhanger — an over-water swing rising to a height of 50 meters above the open sea;

The Spiral @ Tree of Life — the longest dry slide at sea, 81.3 meters long, spanning 11 decks;

Twin Racer & U Drop water slides;



Adventure Trail High Ropes Course covering over 570 square meters with Sky Rails suspension tracks similar to a zip line;

MSC Formula Racer — a racing simulator with a two-seater car;

MSC Luna Park Arena — a venue set to become one of MSC Cruises most innovative and interactive entertainment hubs to date. Game shows, high-energy themed parties, and other entertainment activities will take place here across two decks.
