Royal Caribbean is launching a new class of liners!

The cruise community is preparing for another revolution. Royal Caribbean Group officially announced the creation of a completely new generation of liners - the Discovery class, which will define the future of sea vacations for decades to come.

To build new vessels, the company has entered into strategic agreements with the legendary French shipyard Chantiers de l'Atlantique, which is located in the city of Saint-Nazaire and is one of the world leaders in shipbuilding.

“Discovery Class represents a bold and new concept that puts our guests at the center of everything. It will deliver exceptional, one-of-a-kind experiences—from cutting-edge design to captivating interactive moments. Every detail is designed to surprise and delight guests in ways they never imagined, as they visit truly captivating destinations around the world,” said Michael Bailey, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean.

Chantiers de l'Atlantique, one of the world's most renowned shipyards, has a long history of building leading ships. Over the past four decades, the shipyard has built a total of 21 ships for the Royal Caribbean Group, and is currently building two more ships – the 7th Oasis-class ship and the Celebrity Xcite.
