Azamara Journey

Refurbishment Period: March 1–9, 2026
Shipyard: Cernaval (Algeciras, Spain)

The Azamara Journey underwent a short scheduled refurbishment in early March at the port of Algeciras (Spain).

As part of routine maintenance, the ship spent 8 days at the shipyard, successfully completing all works on March 9, 2026.

The vessel has now returned to service and is operating spring cruises to the Canary Islands, Morocco, and the Western Mediterranean.

Carnival Dream
Cruise Line: Carnival Cruise Line
Capacity: 3,650 guests
Tonnage: 130,000
Year Built: 2009
Refurbishment Period: March 4–21, 2026
Shipyard: Chantier Naval de Marseille (Marseille, France)

The Carnival Dream underwent scheduled refurbishment at the French shipyard Chantier Naval de Marseille.

After completing Caribbean sailings in late February, the ship entered a 14-day maintenance period that included technical works and routine inspections.

Shipyard: Navantia (Cadiz, Spain)

Wind Star is currently undergoing refurbishment at the Navantia shipyard as part of phase two of the Setting Sail modernization program.

Key upgrades include fully redesigned public areas, updated suites, and staterooms.

The works are scheduled to be completed before the start of the European summer season on April 7, 2026.



Koningsdam

Refurbishment Period: March 15–29, 2026
Shipyard: Grand Bahama Shipyard (Freeport, Bahamas)

The Koningsdam is undergoing scheduled maintenance at Grand Bahama Shipyard.

The works include technical upgrades, class inspections, and general maintenance to ensure optimal operational condition.

After completion, the ship will resume Caribbean cruises in late March before heading to Alaska for the summer season.



Ovation of the Seas
Cruise Line: Royal Caribbean International

Refurbishment Period: March 16 – April 17, 2026
Shipyard: Seatrium Admiralty Shipyard (Singapore)

Ovation of the Seas entered dry dock for a major upgrade as part of Royal Caribbean's Royal Amplified program.

Over the course of a month, the ship will receive new entertainment areas, additional staterooms, and upgraded public spaces.

In 2026, the ship celebrates its 10th anniversary and is set to welcome guests again in Singapore from April 17.
