Celestyal completed its best season in the Mediterranean and Adriatic in history, with passenger numbers in the Mediterranean up four percent and revenue up 10 percent compared to 2024.
The company said that, operating from April to November, it offered 10 “Celestial Greece, Italy and Croatia” sailings and 22 “Idyllic Greece” sailings on the Celestyal Journey liner, with both itineraries offering seven ports over seven nights.
Celestyal Discovery has sailed 69 voyages with three- and four-day cruises "to iconic Greek islands."

Also this season Celestyal Discovery became the first ship in Greek waters to operate on a local blend of marine biofuel, reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately 21 percent, according to a Celestyal press release.
Both ships are currently preparing to redeploy to the Persian Gulf for the winter.

Lee Haslett, Celestyal's Chief Commercial Officer, said: “2025 was another successful year for Celestyal. From expanding our routes and modernizing our fleet to pioneering sustainability efforts, we are seeing record demand and profitability across our Mediterranean program.”
“We look to the future with incredible excitement as both Celestyal Journey and Celestyal Discovery head to the Persian Gulf, which is quickly becoming a popular destination for winter sun,” added Haslett.
John Diorio, vice president of North American business development for Celestyal, said, “We believe we have accomplished a great deal this year, but we look forward to what 2026 has in store for us and to reaching more cruisers and guests in North America.”
Celestyal's Gulf travel season will begin on December 6, 2025, when Celestyal embarks on a festive cruise to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
It will then run a seven-day “Days in the Desert” itinerary for the rest of the season, calling at Sir Bani Yas Island, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain, as well as two full days and an overnight stay in Dubai.
Celestyal Discovery will then join her fleet mate for her first season in the region, departing on December 12, 2025 and launching new three-, four- and seven-day “Iconic Arabia” cruises.
The ship will cruise from its winter homeport in Abu Dhabi, calling at Doha, Qatar; Khasab, Oman; Dubai, UAE; Sir Bani Yas Island, UAE; and making its first visits to Ras al-Khaimah, UAE.
