Celebrity Cruises Season in Europe: Eight Liners Launch Summer Itineraries
The summer season for Celebrity Cruises in Europe, featuring eight ships, has already begun following the repositioning voyages of six vessels.
These six vessels recently completed transatlantic crossings to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, where they joined the liner Celebrity Infinity CRUISES HERE, which operates in this region year-round.
The highlight of the season is Celebrity Xcel CRUISES HERE, which joined the company's regional fleet in late May. The new Edge-class ship, commissioned at the end of 2025, is currently spending its first summer in the Mediterranean and Atlantic.
The ship's deployment includes departures from Barcelona and Piraeus for a series of 7 to 11-night itineraries visiting Spain, Malta, Greece, Turkey, France, and Italy. A major highlight of the season is the 11-night cruises to the island of Madeira, which also include port calls in Portugal and Morocco.
Joining the Xcel are Celebrity Ascent CRUISES HERE, Celebrity Equinox CRUISES HERE and Celebrity Constellation CRUISES HERE which also offer seasonal itineraries in the Mediterranean.
The liner Infinity, operating on the continent year-round, sails to Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean in the summer. A special feature of its itineraries from Piraeus is calls at less common ports in the region, such as Hydra, Thessaloniki, and Kavala.
Celebrity Eclipse CRUISES HERE and Celebrity Apex CRUISES HERE are currently operating summer cruises in Northern Europe, covering destinations in Scandinavia, the British Isles, Iceland, the Baltic Sea region, and more.
The eighth vessel, Celebrity Silhouette CRUISES HERE is set to redeploy to Europe in early July for a series of cruises to Iceland. The Solstice-class liner, which currently sails to Bermuda from Cape Liberty, will offer 7-night cruises from Reykjavik until the end of August. The ship's intensive itineraries, titled “Iceland Intensive”, cover a voyage around the entire island with visits to Seydisfjordur, Isafjordur, and Akureyri.
The Celebrity season in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe will conclude in November, after which the ships will transition to the Caribbean and the Canary Islands.
