Celebrity opened the era of river cruises!

Celebrity Cruises has announced its first two river ships, which will be launched in 2027, — Celebrity Compass and Celebrity Seeker.

“Celebrity River Cruises will be the most innovative on the river with a unique, patented design that provides more space to relax and allows guests to experience their destinations even more intimately,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises. “Nearly half of our guests already have river cruise experience or are planning to, so we are confident they will love traveling the Rhine and Danube The Celebrity Way on our modern, cutting-edge fleet.”



The company notes that the revolutionary open decks offer the most open space of any river ship and remain accessible throughout the entire route.

Celebrity Compass and Celebrity Seeker give guests the opportunity to dine over the river itself in Magic Edge — the world's first suspended dining capsules.



Transformable shade structures, comfortable furniture, a bar and grill on the upper deck create ideal conditions for outdoor recreation.

In addition, an infinity pool with an edge that merges with the horizon invites guests to refresh themselves while enjoying the views.



As for the cabins, Celebrity said the innovative design provides convenient storage, thoughtful layouts, king-size beds in each cabin and spacious balconies. Suite passengers also receive a personal butler through the Butler Chat service, exclusive dining, room service and theme nights, complimentary laundry once per cruise, and priority shore excursion bookings.

In the field of gastronomy, eight restaurants and bars are available, including the guests' favorite establishments - Martini Bar, Sunset Bar and Café Al Bacio.
