• 2014 – Regent Seven Seas Cruises becomes part of the cruise holding Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings. This strategic merger strengthened the brand’s position in the luxury cruise segment and ensured sustainable development.
• 2016 – Seven Seas Explorer, built at the Fincantieri shipyard (Italy), was launched. The liner is positioned as “the most luxurious ship ever built.” Princess Charlene of Monaco is Explorer’s godmother.
• 2020 – Seven Seas Splendor debuts. The new ship embodies the brand’s “Luxury Perfected” philosophy, with even more spacious cabins, an art collection worth over million, and an exclusive suite layout.

Arrival and Embarkation

Is it possible to pre-purchase a transfer after the cruise?
Yes. Return transfer (from the port after the cruise to the airport or hotel) can be:
• Pre-purchased when booking your cruise through a consultant.
• Pre-purchased on board during the cruise, the amount will be included in your bill on the ship.
Four Gates Group specialists will help you calculate the necessary transfer option in advance, depending on the route.

When should I arrive at the port of embarkation?
We strongly recommend arriving at the port 1 day before the cruise, regardless of the departure region. This is especially important for sailings:
• To Alaska – due to the Jones Act, guests cannot join the cruise after departure if embarkation takes place in Vancouver.
• If you miss your embarkation in remote ports such as Seward, Alaska, you will not be able to join later.
So, an early arrival is the key to a successful start to the cruise.

Boarding and disembarking times
Boarding depends on the type of cabin and the level in the Seven Seas Society program.

Suite Category / Guest Status Embarkation Time Suite Access
Skyview Suite, Regent Suite, Master Suite, Grand Suite 12:00 PM 12:00 PM
Navigator, Mariner, Voyager, Seven Seas, Horizon Suites
and Titanium level guests
12:00 PM 1:00 PM

For departures from the USA – mandatory boarding no later than 2 hours before the ship’s departure, in accordance with the requirements of U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
In all other countries – boarding closes 1 hour 30 minutes before departure.
Disembarkation:
Guests must vacate their cabin shortly after arriving at the port. It is not recommended to book return flights earlier than 4 hours after the end of the cruise.

Will I have to go through customs?
Yes. Upon returning to the port of arrival, especially in the USA, all luggage is subject to inspection by the customs service. Also, if the cruise begins or ends in a foreign port – local services may conduct an inspection on site.
For US citizens:
• Duty-free import of up to $ 800 per person is allowed.
