Launched in 2021, MSC Virtuosa is the second Meraviglia Plus class ship after MSC Grandiosa (2019). The Meraviglia Plus liners are a modernized (extended) version of the previous MSC Meraviglia (2017) and MSC Bellissima (2019) liners.

The commissioning of the MSC Virtuosa was originally scheduled for November 8, 2020, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, the new cruise ship was delivered to MSC Cruises on February 1, 2021.
Virtuosa boasts state-of-the-art wristband technology for making payments, booking specialty restaurants and spa treatments, and giving parents the ability to locate their children.
The highlight of MSC Virtuosa entertainment is two brand new Cirque du Soleil shows created especially for MSC Cruises guests.
MSC Virtuosa invites you to experience MSC for Me technology, which connects you with the crew of the liner, ensuring control of your holiday. As well as her new digital cruise assistant Zoe, who speaks 7 languages and thanks to which you can find out any information about what is happening on board the ship without leaving the cabin.
