MSC Poesia after a grand modernization: the liner received the MSC Yacht Club and is sailing to Alaska in 2026

The company MSC Cruises has officially completed the major modernization of the MSC Poesia cruise ship. Already in May 2026, the renewed vessel will begin its debut season in Alaska, with the main highlight being the addition of the premium MSC Yacht Club complex.

This is one of the largest modernization projects in the MSC Cruises fleet in recent years. Following the renovation, the classic Musica-class ship has received an entirely new level of service and premium vacation experience.



MSC Poesia now features a full MSC Yacht Club!
After the renovation, an exclusive MSC Yacht Club complex is now located in the forward section of the ship, featuring 69 new luxury suites in various categories:

• cozy interior suites
• ocean-view balcony suites
• family suites with connecting balconies
• a two-room Grand Suite with a spacious terrace
• a luxurious Royal Suite with a private whirlpool

Special attention is drawn to the Royal Suite, which features a spacious panoramic terrace of approximately 78 m² overlooking the ocean.

All MSC Yacht Club suites include:

• marble-finished bathrooms
• premium textile accessories
• Nespresso coffee machines

Alaska in Summer 2026 and the Caribbean in Winter
Following the renovation, MSC Poesia will head to the United States, where she will spend her first season in Alaska.

Planned itinerary highlights include:

• Juneau
• Ketchikan
• Icy Strait Point
• Endicott Arm
• and other scenic locations in Alaska

In winter 2026/2027, the ship will sail in the Caribbean and Central America.

MSC Cruises continues expanding its premium segment
The addition of MSC Yacht Club to MSC Poesia confirms the strategy of MSC Cruises to expand its luxury segment even on classic ships within the fleet. MSC Poesia will now combine the atmosphere of a more compact and relaxed cruise ship with premium-level service.
