Hero of the Seas Will Have Its Own Chief Dog Officer

Another charming detail that has already caught the attention of brand fans: Hero of the Seas will feature its very own Chief Dog Officer — a Golden Retriever named Dolly. The name of the future "four-legged crew member" was chosen shortly before the ship's float-out. This tradition has already become part of the Icon Class concept: dogs help create a warm, family atmosphere onboard while becoming true guest favorites. The program is implemented by Royal Caribbean in partnership with the American Humane Society.

Guests can look forward to:

• various stateroom and suite categories, including the three-story Ultimate Family Treehouse;
