Tips to help you always feel comfortable on board a ship
Before you travel
When embarking on an international cruise, we recommend that you make sure you have:
• a passport with the necessary visas;
• cruise documents; medical insurance policy;
• related documents.
When boarding the liner
• We recommend that you arrive at the seaport 4 hours before the liner’s departure.
ATTENTION! THE LINER WILL NOT WAIT for those who are late! Tourists bear full material and moral responsibility for the consequences arising from their lateness to the ship’s departure.
Please note that luggage is checked in at the port and delivered to the cabin (a suggested tip for luggage delivery is approximately 2$ per item, payable upon check-in).
• During customs and border formalities, you hand over your passport to the ship’s immigration officers (for the duration of the cruise), board the ship, and check into your cabin; the cabin number and category are listed in your cruise documents.
• Each cabin has information on the location of services, a plan-map of the ship, and a telephone directory of various ship services. Each cabin is equipped with air conditioning, a telephone, a TV, a safe, 110-volt and 220-volt power outlets. Some cabins have a hairdryer. Each cabin has a bathroom with a shower; suite cabins have a bathtub.
If you are hungry, there is a buffet cafe on the upper deck, opening hours are listed in the ship’s newspaper, Cruise Compass.
Before the ship departs, there is always a "Drill Alert", you must take a life jacket and take part in the drills.
DURING THE CRUISE
• Every day a Cruise Compass daily program is delivered to your cabin with a detailed indication of the location, time and content of the activities held on board, the start time of the excursion program, air temperature, as well as general information about the port of call, recommendations for choosing clothing, etc.
• We strongly ask you to monitor the safety of your luggage. It is recommended to store valuables and money in safes.
• On board the liners there are: swimming pools located on the upper deck, a jacuzzi, a solarium, a beauty salon and massage parlor, a hairdresser, a library, a slot machine hall, a casino, several bars, a disco, duty-free shops, a cinema, a children’s entertainment center and much more.
Your wardrobe
Women are advised to bring evening or cocktail dresses, and men are advised to bring a suit and tie. During the cruise, the ship will host receptions, one of which will be hosted by the ship’s Captain.
Additional costs on board the ship and their payment
• The cruise price includes all types of meals on board the ship (except dinners in alternative restaurants), accommodation in a cabin of the selected category, use of the gym, swimming pools, as well as an entertainment program, port fees and duties.
• Additional charges include: bar products, reservations in alternative restaurants, laundry services, beauty salon, SPA, casino, shore excursions, group sports, ordering food and drinks to the cabin from 00:00 to 5:30 in the morning.
Cashless payment of expenses on board
For the convenience of payments, all passengers receive a so-called SeaPass credit card upon registration, which is used to charge all additional expenses on board during the cruise. You will need cash and credit cards for payments at the ship’s ports of call.
What is a SeaPass card?
• A credit card on the ship (with this card you can make purchases in stores on board the ship, purchase tickets for shore excursions, participate in the lottery, order alcoholic beverages and cocktails in bars, pay for visits to the beauty salon, massage parlor, photography, laundry and dry cleaning services and much more. Chips and tokens for the casino are purchased both for cash and by credit card.
• A pass to the ship (the name of the cruise line, the name of the ship, the name of the restaurant, the table number are indicated on the card).
• Your ID card for the duration of the cruise (the card indicates your last name, first name).
• Cabin key.
• The SeaPass card must be activated on the day of the cruise. You can present your credit card at check-in, after which all expenses will be automatically charged, or inform that you wish to pay in cash. In this case, please contact the Pursers Desk/Guest Relations and make a deposit of 250$ per person. The amount may vary depending on the duration of the cruise. After that, an account will be opened in your name and to pay for expenses on board you will only need to present the card and sign checks. The day before the end of the cruise, you will be presented with a general bill detailing your expenses on board, which must be paid by 23:00 the day before or from 06:00 to 07:00 on the day of the end of the cruise.

Tips
This is the norm all over the world, as 90% of the service staff’s salary is made up of tips.
You can choose to pay a tip when booking a cruise at an authorized office or on board in cash or by crediting it to an onboard account.
The amount of tips is approximate and may vary depending on the cruise company and cabin category (per person per day):
• When staying in a cabin without a window, with a window, with a balcony (Standard Room): 18.50$/person per day.
• When staying in a Concierge & Aqua Class cabin: 18.50$/person per day.

Shore Excursions
• A shore excursion order form is available in your cabin. If you wish to participate in the excursions, please complete it and return it to the Shore Excursions desk, where you can obtain information about excursions in ports of call and purchase tickets. Before entering the port, the cruise director and lecturer will discuss local attractions and excursions offered on board, as well as shops and bargains.

Medical Services
All Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises ships have a qualified doctor and nurses on duty 24 hours a day in case of emergency. Medical services provided on board are paid additionally, the rates correspond to European ones. We recommend that you take the necessary medications with you. If you are sensitive to the slightest vibrations of the liner, we recommend using special tablets, which can be obtained free of charge from the doctor or at the Guest Relations desk.
Laundry and dry cleaning services
The liners are equipped with excellent laundry and dry cleaning facilities. The price list for this type of service is in your cabin. With a standard order, things will be delivered the next day. If you need to receive things during the day, you must hand over the completed form and things in a special package to the steward by 09:00, the surcharge will be 50% of the total cost of the order.
Duty-free shops
